Web Application Developer

Responsibilities

Analyzes, designs, develops, enhances, and supports Department of Transportation (DOT) IT applications consisting of commercial off-the-shelf package applications, in-house custom developed applications, and subsystems on client-server and web-based platforms
Support the overall life cycle for creating, maintaining, and supporting DOT IT applications through requirements gathering, analysis, development, implementation, and testing and supporting of applications

Required

Significant work experience developing applications using C# and Microsoft .NET
Significant work experience developing applications for Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle
Professional work experience utilizing modern UI frameworks/libraries (e.g. Angular, React, Vue)
Professional work experience utilizing GitHub, Jenkins, and/or Maven
Professional work experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and performing systems analysis and design

Preferred

Experience migrating legacy applications to modern frameworks
Troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues
Developing automated tests for applications using tools and frameworks
