Responsibilities
Maintains and implements the Borough's Risk Management Plan
Claims processing
Procurement of the various insurance policies of the Borough
Participates in the Safety Committee and the Wellness Committee of the Borough
Performs professional administrative work managing, planning, implementing and evaluating risk management activities
Planning, assigning and coordinating risk management programs
Includes worker's compensation, employee safety, occupational health, general loss control, and property and liability exposures
Develops solutions to non-routine issues
Exercises significant latitude in determining best approaches to critical assignments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business, risk management or a related field
Five or more years' experience in development and administration of all lines of insurance and accident and loss prevention programs
Equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience
