They are offering a summer undergraduate internship for students interested in public opinion, survey research, and data science, where interns will assist in demographic research and support the development of survey questionnaires.

Responsibilities

Assist in updating demographic portraits

Contribute analysis and research support

Support the team’s quality control tasks

Provide general research support in the development of new survey questionnaires

Assist the research team on various aspects of the survey process, including questionnaire development, data management, statistical analysis, reporting of survey results and quality control

Work closely with staff

Learn new skills and have firsthand experience in data analysis and research production

Required

College students who are pursuing a bachelor's or associate degree and have completed a minimum of two years (in other words, rising juniors and seniors)

Interest in public opinion, polling and social science

Experience working with quantitative data and data analysis in SPSS, R, Stata, SAS or other statistical software

(2) Please discuss your professional aspirations and how this internship would align with your career trajectory. (3) Tell us about a research project you worked on that you are especially proud of, and why (including any statistical analysis)
