Social Services Analyst 1- Child Welfare Team Specialist

NEOGOV is seeking a Social Services Analyst 1 for the Department of Children and Family Services in Louisiana. The role involves providing administrative support to child welfare case workers and ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in the community.

Responsibilities

Assist child welfare specialists by gathering information for family meetings, court and enter that information in a tracking system
Type court documents, legal forms, correspondence
Supervise and document family and/or home visits
Purchase or provision goods and services for clients or foster parents and children from community resources
Input information into child welfare programs including TIPS, completing referrals, case records, day care records, perform clearances, and email
Gather required information to assist the Child Welfare Specialist in the evaluation of special board requests
Transport clients to appointments
Work closely with community partners
Perform other related duties as assigned

Required

Three years of experience in social services
Six years of full-time experience in any field
A bachelor's degree
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field
Valid driver's license
High school diploma or equivalent
