HCP Contract & Payment Manager

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a HCP Contract & Payment Manager to join our pharmaceutical client. This role is responsible for providing operational support for HCP consultant engagements, ensuring timely and accurate project execution, and managing contracting processes.

Responsibilities

Review project briefs submitted by US Medical/US Commercial business partners, focusing on HCP information for contracting
Manage system integration from project brief into HCP system (Veeva); ensuring HCP info is entered based on FMV/tiered rates
Monitor daily activity of HCP contracting within systems, communicate daily with business partners on event contracting status while connecting with external contracting vendors
Manage HCP tiering; gather CVs from business partners, submitting CMID requests as needed
Effectively communicate with external consultants on needed action items to complete contracting process to ensure event planning timelines are upheld
Effectively collaborate with the Senior Manager, communicating via MS Teams, emails, meetings and systems as needed (i.e. Workfront, Veeva, Contracting Platforms)
Provide real time status updates on HCP contracting activity within Workfront
Create, submit and review new HCP invoices and payments
Event closeout process: Partner with the Senior Manager(s) to gather all required documentation for event close out. Upload files within internal SharePoint site which is a collaborative effort between Project Specialist and Senior Manager(s)
Finance and budget coordination of purchase order requisitions and processing of invoice payments

Required

BA/BS Degree Required
2-4 years of pharmaceutical industry experience with understanding of KOL/Thought Leader Engagements
Ability to multitask and manage workflows at different stages throughout the day while attending meetings
Strong interpersonal/written communication and presentation skills
Delivers accurate deadline-driven information to team members, vendors, and stakeholders
Proficient in software that must be used independently: Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Ariba, SAP, Veeva Event Management, Icertis, Workfront, SharePoint
Proficiency with contract management and financial systems
Leads by example, displaying integrity, collaboration, accessibility, adaptability, sound judgment/decision making, and solutions-oriented attitude
Excellent planning, prioritization, management, and organizational skills; Proven ability to manage multiple projects with often quick changes
Must be able to work and collaborate in team environment
Demonstrates an innovative growth mindset
Highly efficient, extremely detail oriented and possesses a sense of urgency to meet timelines
Patient, adaptable and can work under high pressure situations
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
MS Office Suite including AI tools is required

Preferred

Project Management and/or Advertising Agency experience preferred
Veeva and WorkFront is plus
