They are seeking a hands-on Systems Administrator to maintain and improve their Microsoft and VMware environment, ensuring systems are secure, stable, and well-documented while supporting day-to-day operations and IT projects.

Responsibilities
Manage core infrastructure including VMware hosts, Windows Servers, and Active Directory
Administer user accounts, GPOs, and Azure AD integrations
Maintain firewall rules, VPNs, and enforce security best practices
Oversee Veeam backups and perform regular restore tests
Support SQL Server patching and performance monitoring
Handle Office 365 and Exchange administration
Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and troubleshoot complex issues
Perform periodic datacenter visits for hardware installs and maintenance
Use tools like ManageEngine for monitoring and ticketing
Qualification
Required
Experience in systems and network administration
Knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, VMware, and Windows Server
Familiarity with backup solutions (Veeam) and security practices
Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills
Clear communication and proactive approach
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
Certifications: Security+, Azure Administrator, VMware VCP, Network+ or CCNA
