Responsibilities

Design, develop, and improve mechanical systems, components, and equipment to meet production and quality standards

Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, production, warehouse, and supply chain teams to solve problems and drive process improvements

Apply sound engineering principles to support new product development, tooling design, and process optimization

Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for product or process issues

Support capital projects and assist in specifying or commissioning new equipment and systems

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on efficiency, reliability, and safety

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, fostering teamwork and shared understanding across departments

Document designs, test results, and changes according to company procedures and regulatory requirements

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

5+ years of experience in a mechanical or manufacturing engineering role, preferably in a production environment

Proficiency in 3D CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar) and experience with mechanical design, tolerance analysis, and materials selection

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, such as machining, metal forming, injection molding, or assembly

Demonstrated problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and eagerness to learn and share ideas

Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills; able to build trust and collaborate effectively across all levels and departments

Positive attitude required with a focus on solutions, growth, and team success

Preferred

Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles
