Responsibilities
Take ownership of projects following award, leading the handoff from estimating through project closeout
Review contracts, scopes, schedules, and budgets; finalize work order budgets and project plans
Lead project turnover meetings and coordinate with operations, field leadership, and project support teams
Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and contract documentation
Perform equipment buyouts and manage procurement of materials and major equipment
Draft and manage subcontracts for specialty trades (controls, insulation, testing and balancing, water treatment, etc.)
Track job costs, review weekly cost reports, and prepare monthly work-in-progress (WIP) projections
Develop and manage schedules of values and billing requirements
Drive project closeout, including punch lists, documentation, retention release, and final billing
Maintain strong client relationships and proactively address risks, delays, or scope changes
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or 4 years of equivalent mechanical construction experience
Experience managing HVAC and/or mechanical construction projects
Strong understanding of contracts, cost controls, change management, and project financials
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, field teams, and executive leadership
Organized, decisive, and solutions-oriented leadership style
