Responsibilities
Execute the full-cycle sales process within the staffing industry, including prospecting, preparation, presentations, objection handling, closing, and follow-up
Generate new business through cold calling, referrals, networking, and relationship-driven sales strategies
Identify, research, and qualify prospective clients within multiple staffing verticals
Build and maintain a strong pipeline and prospect list to support branch and regional growth
Achieve revenue, margin, and growth targets through strategic account development
Maintain accurate CRM records documenting all sales activities and stages
Develop and deliver compelling, customized staffing proposals and workforce solutions
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service terms to ensure profitable engagements
Leverage in-depth knowledge of staffing models (temporary, temp-to-hire, direct hire, managed services, and workforce management)
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by providing insight into labor market conditions, wage trends, and talent availability
Consult with clients on hiring challenges, workforce planning, and recruiting strategies
Act as a subject matter expert when presenting recruiting, sourcing, and workforce solutions
Stay current on staffing industry trends, compliance considerations, and competitive market dynamics
Share market intelligence and staffing insights with leadership to support recruiting and sales strategy development
Develop, manage, and grow long-term client relationships across diverse industries
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through proactive communication and consultative service
Identify opportunities for expansion within existing accounts through cross-selling and workforce optimization
Collaborate with senior leadership and key decision-makers to align business development initiatives
Plan and manage personal and branch-level sales strategies to maximize return on time investment
Represent the organization professionally at networking events, industry associations, job fairs, and trade shows
Serve as a branch leader and market ambassador within the staffing community
Qualification
Required
Demonstrated success in staffing industry sales, business development, or branch leadership
Strong understanding of labor markets, staffing trends, and workforce solutions
Proven ability to close complex staffing deals and manage long sales cycles
Highly driven, adaptable, and results-oriented
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
