Responsibilities
Lead the evolution of newly acquired product line by refining 3D mechanical structures and electrical systems
Strip away design complexity to improve manufacturability
You’ll redesign electrical harnesses, control layouts, and mechanical mounts to ensure our equipment is faster to build, easier to service, and more reliable
Conduct deep-dive technical audits of our current fleet to identify 'smarter' engineering paths
You will lead projects to consolidate parts and substitute materials, driving down production costs while simultaneously increasing machine durability
Serve as the technical 'fixer' for our existing fleet
You will utilize rigorous root-cause analysis to identify failure-prone or over-engineered components and replace them with validated, robust designs that solve the problem for good
Design the specialized equipment required for the fleet’s deployment
This includes the engineering behind truck integrations, machine handling systems, and modular power skids to ensure seamless transport and setup
Take full accountability for your designs by leading 'first-article' testing at rail sites
You will travel to the field to oversee machine commissioning, ensuring your engineering performs perfectly under grueling, real-world conditions
You will provide customers with high-level technical support to ensure machines operate at peak efficiency
You will serve as the primary technical advocate for the customer, capturing field data and user feedback to directly influence the next generation of our equipment
