Responsibilities

Managing a team of skilled engineers

Ensuring the team and its processes are equipped for growth

Coach, provide oversight and occasionally play a hands-on role in manufacturing processes responsible for the production of Aerospace quality products

Development of mechanical and electrical design solutions (new and modified) for structures, pneumatics, hydraulics, tooling and fixtures

Required

Proven experience in Engineering Management and Team Leadership

Proficiency in developing strategies for technical and operational excellence

Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing & Electrical Engineering technical standards, principles, theories, and techniques

Knowledge of drafting standards (Y14.5M-1994, Y14.38M, Y14.100M) and applicable ASTM standards

Knowledge of process control & measurement instrumentation (pressure, temperature, level, flow, force and torque)

Proficient in SolidWorks with experience creating solid models and sheet metal flat patterns from customer supplied 2D design packages. 3D modeling simulation a plus

Working knowledge of GD&T

Strong computer proficiency (Office 365) in addition to ERP systems background (Epicor / Kinetic a plus)

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field (advanced degree preferred)

Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Preferred

Experience with AS9100, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement technical a plus

Experience in the aerospace or defense industry is a plus
