Twin Disc is seeking a skilled Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions within their enterprise business systems environment. This role plays a critical part in analyzing, designing, configuring, developing, and supporting enterprise applications while ensuring alignment with business goals and IT standards.

Responsibilities

Partner with decision makers, system owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operational requirements

Participate in prototyping sessions to improve business processes and workflows

Review and assess current systems to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and enhancement opportunities

Assist in planning, designing, developing, and deploying new applications and system enhancements

Conduct research on potential software/hardware solutions and provide recommendations

Prepare and deliver system reports, recommendations, and alternatives to address operational challenges

Partner to help create system design proposals, models, specifications, diagrams, and documentation

Ensure compatibility and interoperability of internal computing systems

Conduct systems testing, including end-user reviews, for new and modified systems

Deliver orientation and training for new and updated systems

Support enterprise application implementations, upgrades, and enhancements

Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications

Perform system configuration and module setup for various enterprise applications

Conduct data analysis using SQL and other tools; guide data conversion efforts

Maintain technical documentation, design specs, and test plans

Provide support and training to end users and junior team members

Work closely with business units to optimize enterprise system usage

Participate in problem-solving discussions and assist stakeholders with system issues

Effectively communicate complex technical concepts in user-friendly terms
