Responsibilities
Weekly : Monitor leasing activity, renewals, rental rates, and operating expenses; lead weekly performance meetings with property management teams; develop leasing/marketing strategies to boost occupancy and revenue; identify expense reductions and approve biweekly payables
Monthly : Analyze financials, variance reports, and cash positions; conduct performance reviews with ownership and managers to meet annual cash flow targets
Quarterly : Conduct on-site property visits (quarterly or bi-monthly) to evaluate asset conditions, operations, and capital needs
Annually : Spearhead budgeting process, recommend enhancements based on performance data, ensure alignment with company goals, and manage leasing license renewals
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in real estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
5+ years of direct experience in office/residential/multifamily asset management, real estate finance, or property operations from an ownership perspective (third-party management experience considered if paired with strong ownership-side insight)
Proven track record in financial/operational oversight of residential, office, or mixed-use properties
Strong knowledge of property management systems, financial reporting, budgeting, and market analysis
Ability to develop strategic approaches to mitigate risk and implement value-add strategies for existing assets
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) for effective collaboration with ownership, on-site teams, vendors, and stakeholders
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel heavy); familiarity with real estate software a plus
Highly organized, analytical, and proactive with strong leadership and relationship-building abilities
