E&F Business Development Representative
Ace Electric, Inc. is a leading provider of electrical installations across various markets. The Engineering and Fabrication Business Development Representative is responsible for building customer relationships, identifying new sales opportunities, and driving revenue growth through prefabricated electrical products and solutions.

Responsibilities
Generate new business by site and office visits within ACE Electric divisions
Promote and sell prefabricated electrical assemblies such as conduit racks, stub-ups, wire harnesses, panel builds, and modular assemblies
Consult with ACE Electric project managers and field leadership to understand their project needs and provide prefab solutions that add value and reduce labor hours
Provide technical support and product recommendations to internal stakeholders
Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, bids, and proposals
Collaborate with prefab and engineering teams to ensure custom solutions meet customer requirements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, codes, and regulations
Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets
Support estimating and preconstruction teams by providing project intelligence and client insights
Work with operations and project management to ensure smooth project handoff and client satisfaction
Stay current on market trends, competitors, and upcoming capital projects in target sectors
Qualification
Required
Valid state driver's license as required by job conditions or by the company
Bachelor of Science in Building Construction or similar required
3–5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the electrical construction or prefab industry
References, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing, Valid Driver's License
Comprehend and practice safe work procedures as outlined in Company Safety Handbook
Read and interpret instructional manuals and written instructions
Must hear and see well (either natural or with correction)
Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead
Able to lift objects weighing up to 30 pounds, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds
Tolerant to prolonged sitting
Preferred
Electrical trade experience (Journeyman or Master Electrician background preferred but not required)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes (NEC, NFPA), and construction processes
Experience working with electrical wholesalers or prefab shops
Able to demonstrate advanced computer and keyboard skills to include MS Office Suite
Acute attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to maintain required levels of confidentiality when entrusted with sensitive business, customer, or employee related information
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Effective and professional communicator, both written and verbal
Strong understanding of electrical products, construction techniques, and prefabrication processes
Ability to travel regionally (30-40% of the time) across the southeast
