Financial Assistant
Vivo Technologies is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time Finance & Procurement Assistant to support their finance and operations team. This entry-level role involves hands-on experience with procurement, invoice processing, and basic bookkeeping, while working closely with internal teams and vendors.
Responsibilities
Assist with procurement and purchasing activities, including:
Creating and tracking purchase orders
Communicating with vendors regarding orders, invoices, and delivery
Maintaining vendor records
Support accounts payable and bookkeeping tasks, such as:
Entering invoices and expenses into accounting systems
Matching invoices to purchase orders and receipts
Organizing financial documents and records
Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial files
Assist with basic reporting and data entry as needed
Provide general administrative support to the finance team
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Basic computer skills (Google Workspace or Microsoft Office)
Comfortable working with numbers and repetitive tasks
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Willingness to learn and take direction
Preferred
Coursework in accounting, finance, or business preferred but not required
Experience with bookkeeping, invoicing, or accounting software
Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative support
Familiarity with QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar systems
