Key Account Manager
Red Rover Recruitment is seeking a Key Account Manager to oversee and nurture relationships with assigned accounts in the North Central US. The role focuses on strategic account management, driving growth, and ensuring client satisfaction while managing high-value territorial accounts.
Responsibilities
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for managing and nurturing relationships of assigned accounts, primarily T&D utility companies, within the KAM’s assigned territory, driving growth and assuring client satisfaction
This role focuses on strategic account management to increase wallet share of clients’ budgets allotted to solutions aligned with Megger’s business objectives
The KAM directly manages high-value territorial accounts, maintains client relationships at all levels (technician to executive), and is responsible for overall quota attainment at each account
In collaboration with Regional and Strategic Account Managers, Regional Business Unit Leads, and Product Specialists, the KAM ensures alignment on global and regional initiatives, fosters customer satisfaction, and strengthens the health of the sales pipeline
Qualification
Required
Degree preferred; BSEE highly desirable
At least 4 years of experience in sales to electric utilities, apparatus manufacturers, and heavy industrial facilities
Familiarity with transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, power cables, motors, and protective relays
Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within small teams
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and drive results effectively
Ability to self-manage schedule and daily priorities with minimal supervision
Strong organizational capabilities to manage workload and client relationships
Must reside within the territory
