Responsibilities

Support the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and month-end close activities across multiple functional areas
Perform detailed variance analysis versus budget and forecast, identify key drivers, and clearly communicate insights to business partners
Review and validate spending requests against approved budgets and financial policies
Prepare and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for leadership and senior management
Maintain and enhance financial models, reports, and databases to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity
Partner with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational and strategic objectives
Provide financial analysis, modeling, and ad hoc reporting to support strategic planning and decision-making
Work closely with leadership to deliver department-level financial insights, performance tracking, and actionable recommendations

Required

A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Minimum 4+ years of progressive experience in finance
Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to partner across functions and present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis
Experience using accounting and ERP systems (SAP)
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Minimum of High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required for all roles at Scout Motors, Inc
