Bingman Construction Company is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead complex construction projects from pursuit through closeout. This role involves setting the strategic vision of projects, ensuring exceptional client outcomes, and providing senior-level leadership across project teams.

Responsibilities

Lead projects from proposal, interview, and award through completion

Establish project vision, objectives, and success criteria

Set a strong foundation for execution in partnership with Project Managers and Superintendents

Serve as the primary executive contact for clients

Ensure client expectations are met and issues are addressed proactively

Foster long-term relationships and deliver a consistently exceptional client experience

Assemble and launch high-performing project teams

Provide senior leadership, guidance, and decision-making support throughout the project lifecycle

Lead by example, maintaining composure in high-pressure environments and reinforcing company values

Lead or support negotiation of owner contracts and key trade agreements

Ensure alignment on scope, risk allocation, and commercial terms

Maintain oversight of project budgets, forecasts, contingencies, and cost reports

Participate in monthly project reviews and ensure financial health of assigned projects

Monitor master project schedules and key milestones

Intervene as needed to mitigate delays and protect project timelines

Ensure quality standards and processes are implemented and followed

Conduct periodic reviews and spot checks to maintain execution excellence

Identify, communicate, and mitigate project risks

Ensure teams are actively managing risk and capitalizing on opportunities

Champion safety through visible leadership and site engagement

Ensure compliance with all safety standards and company protocols

Oversee project handover, including warranties, training, and final documentation

Ensure a seamless transition and positive final client experience

Lead with integrity, accountability, and professionalism

Communicate early, clearly, and constructively

Remain tactful and composed in challenging situations

Set and uphold high—but reasonable—standards for performance

Take initiative and ownership in driving outcomes
