Responsibilities
Lead ingestion pipelines and data warehouses, handling mutable healthcare and financial data with correctness and precision
Build automated tie-outs, drift detection, and validation processes to guarantee integrity
Design systems that allow safe reprocessing and backfilling for customers
Handle record merging, voids, and late postings transparently and correctly
Set standards for correctness, collaborate with QA, PMs, and engineers, and define the future of the data function
Qualification
Required
6+ years of experience building correctness-critical systems that cannot drift (e.g., financial ledgers, payments, or healthcare RCM)
Experienced in correctness-critical data systems (finance, healthcare, payments, ledgers)
Excited by early-stage startups and high-ownership roles
Experience with complex problems and building durable solutions
Hands-on with Python, SQL, Spark, dbt, Airflow
Passionate about data quality, reliability, and operational excellence
Thrives in small, backend-heavy teams where your work directly impacts the business
