Creative and Social Media Strategy Manager
TOUCH, The Black Breast Cancer Alliance is a nonprofit organization focused on eradicating Black Breast Cancer through education, advocacy, and community-driven solutions. The Creative & Social Media Strategy Manager will lead visual storytelling and digital presence, translating complex clinical science into culturally humble and motivating content for Black women.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute an integrated marketing and communications strategy rooted in equity, accessibility, and community trust
Ensure all messaging reflects the organization’s values, mission, and commitment to health justice
Partner with program and leadership teams to support advocacy, fundraising, education, and community engagement efforts
Create high-impact, provocative graphics for social media, slide decks, and website assets that align with our TOUCHBBCA branding
Work closely with our advocacy team to turn clinical trial data (like mortality gaps and eligibility criteria) into patient-friendly and easy-to-understand infographics
Design and update website banners, landing page assets, and downloadable resources (PDFs/Brochures) that maintain a premium, trustworthy look
Maintain and evolve brand guidelines with an equity lens, ensuring representation and inclusion across all materials
Lead full social media management, including strategy, content creation, scheduling, engagement, audience growth, and performance tracking across platforms
Create original content that reflects the lived realities, strengths, and voices of the Black breast cancer community
Monitor comments, spark conversations, and ensure our community feels seen, heard, and supported 24/7
Actively address the audience comments with thoughtful, research-based responses
Stay ahead of social trends and platform algorithm changes to ensure our life-saving message is always seen
Monitor trends and platform changes while prioritizing ethical storytelling and community-centered engagement
Develop and manage digital content such as website updates and campaign landing pages
Uplift survivor stories, community narratives, and organizational impact with consent, care, and dignity
Collaborate across teams to support grant storytelling, donor communications, and advocacy messaging
Track and analyze digital performance metrics to improve reach, engagement, and impact
Use data alongside community feedback to refine strategies and ensure accountability
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Health, or a related field or equivalent lived and professional experience
2–5 years of experience in graphic design and social media management, preferably within nonprofit, advocacy, health, or social justice spaces
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate sensitive topics with care and clarity
Video editing, motion graphics, or multimedia storytelling experience
Familiarity with email marketing platforms, CMS tools, and social media analytics
Preferred
Lived experience with breast cancer, health advocacy, or working within Black or historically marginalized communities
Experience in health equity, public health, or racial justice–focused organizations
