Moonshot is a manufacturing organization seeking an Engineering Release Coordinator to support their engineering team. The role involves finalizing submittal packages, maintaining SolidWorks BOM accuracy, and assisting with early-stage layout and space planning for electrical equipment projects.

Responsibilities

Compile and formalize customer submittal packages including cover sheets, tables of contents, drawings, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness and professional presentation

Assemble drawing sets, apply consistent formatting standards, and prepare documents for internal review and release

Maintain organized cut sheets and technical documentation to support customer submittals, engineering, and production with accurate component information

Export and finalize Bills of Materials from SolidWorks, ensuring custom properties, descriptions, and assembly structures are accurate and consistent to support procurement and manufacturing

Maintain SolidWorks files by verifying required metadata, correcting properties, and supporting clean BOM outputs and organized project structure

Work closely with design engineers and internal teams to gather missing inputs, track updates, and support on-time completion of deliverables

Assist with early-stage layout planning and space claim work for electrical equipment projects, collaborating with engineering to confirm final decisions

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field required

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, organized, customer-ready documentation

Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow structured processes, and work effectively with deadlines

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering, procurement, and production teams

Preferred

Experience using SolidWorks (assemblies, drawings, and BOM exports preferred)
