INTERDISCIPLINARY ENGINEER
Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) is seeking an Interdisciplinary Engineer to serve in the Mission Systems Group. The role involves leading the development of RF and Fleet battlespace simulations, providing technical leadership for modeling and simulation projects, and overseeing strategic planning and execution of various projects.

Responsibilities
You will lead the development and execution of large-scale Radio Frequency (RF) and Fleet battlespace simulations used to test, train, and evaluate the effectiveness of modern waveforms capabilities for the Fleet
You will provide technical leadership in the frontier area of modeling and simulation which influences major research, development, testing, evaluation, innovation and reengineering projects, proposals, and direction throughout the agency
You will be responsible for strategic planning, cost estimating, project and personnel technical direction, facility management, and successful execution of all projects
You will provide the air crew with the situational awareness needed for safety-of-flight and interfacing with other aircraft, land-based systems, and shipboard systems
You will perform work related to the research, development, integration, test, acquisition, and life-cycle support of electronic systems
Qualification
Required
You will serve as a COMPUTER OR ELECTRONICS ENGINEER, in the Mission Systems Group, Avionics Engineering Department, Core Avionics Engineering Division, Avionics Systems Development & Support Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV
