Responsibilities
Assist electricians by performing tasks under the direct supervision of an electrician actually installing the work and handling the bulk of materials
This employee should keep all materials, tools, and equipment in an orderly fashion and keep the work area clean at all times
Demonstrating safe work habits and proper care of tools and equipment, the Installer I will assist with and learn:
Basic blueprint knowledge
Layout from field sketches
Panel terminations
Size conduit and boxes
Transformer terminations
Motor terminations
Underground conduit installation
Overhead and in wall conduit and cable installation
Wire terminations in J-Box
Conduit and box installation in CMU block alongside masons
Pull wire feeder/branch/low voltage
Operate equipment (training will be provided)
Assist in keeping fluid levels checked and greased in all equipment and vehicles
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Valid state driver's license
OSHA 10 certification
High School Graduate/GED required
References, Background Check, Drug Screen Testing
Preferred
1-2 years as an Installer preferred
Able to maintain professional appearance and conduct at all times
OSHA 10 Hour, CPR, and First Aid trained
Able to maintain high levels of productivity, meeting deadlines while maintaining accuracy
Must be an effective and professional communicator
