Help Desk Technician
SoTalent is seeking a motivated, tech-savvy individual to join their Information Services team. The Help Desk Technician will provide Tier 1 technical support, assist with system administration, troubleshoot issues, and support system installations while collaborating with IT team members.
Responsibilities
Providing Tier 1 technical support to employees across the organization
Assisting with system administration tasks and end‑user support
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
Supporting system installations, configurations, and setup—including POS systems
Helping identify and remove malware and security threats
Maintaining accurate documentation and assisting with routine system updates
Collaborating with IT team members to ensure reliable daily operations
Qualification
Required
Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
Working knowledge of Windows‑based computers
Familiarity with hardware components (processors, motherboards, peripherals, etc.)
Basic proficiency with common business applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Understanding of Windows OS versions (Windows 7–11)
Valid driver's license
Preferred
Interest or previous study in IT, computer science, or related fields is a plus — but not required!
