Materials Specialist

Epitec is seeking a Materials Specialist for our client in Waterloo, IA. In this role, you’ll plan and schedule manufacturing processes for production and service parts, support kanbans/triggers within the client’s production system, and help ensure on-time delivery to the build schedule.

Responsibilities

Schedule production and service parts to meet daily/weekly build plans
Expedite production and purchased components to resolve shortages
Coordinate needed parts with internal departments and communicate engineering/material changes
Assist with manpower planning and general administrative tasks
Support inventory integrity and accuracy, including production and scrap reporting
May develop line sequencing and provide work direction as needed

Manufacturing experienceExcel/MS Office skillsOrganizedDetail-orientedCommunicator

Required

Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
Manufacturing experience
Strong Excel/MS Office skills
Organized, detail-oriented, strong communicator
Comfortable splitting time between desk and shop floor
Willing to work off-shift hours if needed

Preferred

3–5 years post-graduation work history
Recent grads welcome
