They are seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Manager to lead project engineering and management, including planning, design, permitting, and construction of water and wastewater projects while fostering client development and managing junior staff.

Responsibilities

Project engineering and management of a wide range of projects to include planning, design, permitting, and construction of structures in water and wastewater (i.e. drinking water, wastewater, water resources, conveyance)

Supervising junior staff

Lead business development activities including preparation of proposals and presentations

High level of client development and management · Preparation of assessment and design reports

Performing design calculations

Equipment sizing/selection

Preparation of construction documents, and support needs for construction management/commissioning

Fieldwork and site visits from planning through construction may be required with occasional travel

Required

12+ years of experience in the water/wastewater field

Experience managing interdisciplinary teams to effectively meet the client's needs

Experience in successfully delivering projects with collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams

Experience in planning, design, and construction for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities

Project management experience

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies

Self-starter with attention to detail

Strong organizational skills

Proficiency in all MS Office based computer software

Alabama PE license is required

B.S. degree in Environmental, Civil, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering

Preferred

Advanced degree (Master's) in Civil/Environmental Engineering
