Solutions Delivery Manager - Finance & Valuation

Responsibilities
Oversee and implement integrations between policy administration, banking, valuation, and financial systems to ensure accurate, auditable, and timely data flows
Design, deliver, and support technology solutions for Finance and Valuation stakeholders. This includes ownership of internally developed solutions as well as oversight and implementation support for vendor-provided platforms
Ensure solutions meet business, regulatory, and control requirements, including reconciliation, traceability, and data lineage
Partner with product owners, project managers, analysts, engineers, data specialists, and QA teams to meet delivery milestones and resolve delivery risks
Build strong working relationships with Finance and Valuation leaders to understand business priorities and technology needs
Translate complex requirements into clear technical designs and delivery plans
Provide transparent communication on progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes
Champion AWS-based, cloud-native architectures for solutions, emphasizing scalability, resiliency, and security
Drive modernization of legacy reporting and integration processes, reducing manual effort and improving timeliness and accuracy
Promote automation, event-driven designs, and serverless patterns where appropriate
Identify opportunities to leverage AI to enhance financial and valuation reporting, anomaly detection, reconciliations, and forecasting
Support the adoption of AI-assisted development, testing, and data quality techniques to improve delivery speed and reliability
Ensure responsible and secure use of AI, particularly when working with sensitive financial and valuation data
Lead and mentor delivery team members, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
Facilitate planning sessions, design reviews, kanban meetings, and retrospectives to ensure consistent execution
Promote delivery standards, best practices, and shared accountability across teams
Assess existing financial and valuation systems, integrations, and reporting pipelines to identify improvement opportunities
Recommend architectural and process changes that improve performance, reduce operational risk, and enhance scalability
Support strong data governance practices, including controls, validation, and audit readiness
Operate within Agile delivery frameworks, ensuring work is well-prioritized, dependencies are managed, and value is delivered incrementally
Ensure comprehensive documentation is created and maintained, including architecture diagrams, integration specifications, data mappings, and control processes
Promote knowledge sharing and reusable patterns across delivery teams
Lead investigation and resolution of identified issues
Provide post-implementation support and ensure smooth transitions into steady-state operations
Qualification
Required
8–12 years of technology experience; 1–3 years of management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Understanding of financial and valuation data structures, including general ledger, bank, and valuation data
Experience with bank file formats, integrations, and reconciliations (e.g., ACH, positive pay, balance and transaction reporting)
Structured and semi-structured data formats (SQL, CSV, fixed-width, XML, JSON)
ETL / ELT pipelines and batch processing
Experience handling sensitive financial data and PII with appropriate security and controls
Proficiency with Agile delivery tools (e.g., Jira)
Strong understanding of SDLC, testing strategies, deployment, and version control
AWS experience, including services such as S3, Lambda, APIs, and cloud-native integration patterns
Proven leadership and team-development skills
Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to Finance and Valuation business partners
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in data-intensive environments
Ability to manage multiple initiatives while maintaining delivery quality and control discipline
High attention to detail, accuracy, and audit-readiness in financial and valuation solutions
Preferred
AWS Certified Developer and/or AWS Certified Solutions Architect
