Responsibilities

Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and financial reconciliations

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with GAAP

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including balance sheet and income statement preparation

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making

Manage key accounting functions such as cost accounting, cash activities, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, and various accruals

Perform intercompany reconciliations and eliminations as needed

Assist with corporate reporting requirements and external audit requests

Ensure compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements

Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency

Stay up to date on relevant accounting standards and regulatory changes
