Mental Health Professional I / Admissions (Greenville) (Internal Applicants Only)
NEOGOV is seeking a Mental Health Professional I to join their team at the Office of Mental Health, dedicated to providing compassionate care to the community. Responsibilities
Provide triage screening, assessment, crisis intervention services for persons in crisis/emergency situations or persons seeking services via phone or face to face contact
Maintain documentation of clinical services in accordance with State/Center Quality Assurance standards. Collaborative Concurrent Documentation will be a technique utilized in this effort
Comply with the SC Department of Mental Health Compliance Plan and all legal responsibilities and requirements in performing job duties
All required trainings are completed within DMH Guidelines. Attend staff meetings and trainings as required
Assist with walk ins, hospitalizations and additional clinical support to other areas as needed
Qualification
Required
A master's degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field
Evidence of clinical experience providing direct patient care, documented as a practicum or internship during graduate program, or post-graduate clinical experience
Currently employed with the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities - Office of Mental Health
Preferred
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus
