Training and Maritime Operations Subject Matter Expert
The Alaka’ina Foundation Family of Companies is looking for a Training and Maritime Operations Subject Matter Expert to support a customer located in Oahu, Hawai'i. This role involves providing expertise in maritime operations, developing training programs, and analyzing training requirements to enhance operational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
Serve as a maritime operations subject matter expert and provide the expertise necessary to plan and conduct MOC and joint operations training, assist with planning, organizing, and executing the day-to-day operations
Assist in developing and delivering training readiness and standardization activities across the command
Analyze training requirements, strategizes plans; produces quality analytic work in the form of information papers, white papers, briefs, executive correspondence, and effectively presents results in a clear and concise manner when required. Develops for approval by customer, TPOC or staff individual training, and staff training event compendiums and agendas. Implements on approval
Develop for approval and track accomplishments of TF 504 staff training objectives and ensure mission essential tasks (METs) are in alignment with TJFMCC/CJTF/CTF 504 guidance and intent
Leverage the joint event life cycle (JELC) to coordinate staff training and participation in USINDOPACOM and/or Navy led operational level of war (OLW) training activities. Coordinate collective training opportunities with other services and functional component commands
Develop for approval, implement, and facilitate the TF 504 training assessment collection plan. Ensure alignment with emerging Navy-wide MOC training and simulation initiatives
Analyze naval/maritime processes to include integration with other warfighting functions to identify strengths and weaknesses in preparation for and during an exercise
Build and maintain an approved library of data related to naval/maritime operations to include official doctrine, publications, papers, SOPs, historical accounts and emerging concepts
Post exercises or training events, develop for approval a comprehensive after-action review (AAR) and lessons learned and use those products to refine training objectives and packages

Qualification
Required
Valid Driver's License
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with training personnel, travel, and/or budget management
Detailed knowledge of maritime operations, to include the functions of a Maritime Operations Center
Broad knowledge of maritime surface and air operations, as well as Navy logistics operations
At least three (3) year minimum experience on an echelon III or higher Navy or Marine Corps staff
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional applications including Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point
Experience with the Joint or Navy Planning Process
Ability to travel: Each personnel supporting this program is expected to execute three approximately one week (five day) duration travel events each year, exclusive of travel time. Examples of likely locations are: Norfolk VA, San Diego, CA, and Newport RI. All Travel must be PRE-approved by the Technical Oversight POC and then approved by the customer before any travel can be ticketed or executed. Travel locations may change
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must have a Top-Secret Clearance
