Responsibilities
Support the CTO in executing data and AI initiatives for a financial services client
Prepare, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data for downstream modeling use cases
Develop, train, and evaluate machine learning models
Run experiments, evaluate model performance, and produce clear analytical reports
Build and maintain workflows using Databricks
Ensure data quality, lineage tracking, and reproducibility across all deliverables
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to move models from experimentation to delivery
Qualification
Required
3–6+ years of experience in Data Science or applied Machine Learning roles
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
Advanced proficiency in Python for data science and ML
Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and workflows
Strong SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with senior technical leadership
Preferred
Experience with LLMs, embeddings, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows
Exposure to AutoML tools or platforms
Experience working in financial services or regulated environments
