Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, design scalable IT system infrastructure, implements system changes with some independence; may automate service delivery, maintenance tasks, and builds the ecosystem for solutions including individual infrastructure components

Resolves simple technology production issues with some assistance through troubleshooting systems. Identifies issues for escalation

Analyzes outages in order to identify opportunities for solutions

Participates in product selection and testing. Understands engineering best practices, concepts, and patterns

Intake customer requirements and aligns requirements to standardized product offerings Interacts with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions. – and would need to be differentiated across levels

Develop software defined infrastructure in code in CI/CD Pipelines

Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures

Required

Bachelor's Degree or 4 additional years of experience beyond the minimum requirement can be used in lieu of a degree OR Approved certification from CodeUp, Galvanize, VetFIT (Veterans for IT) or eFIT (Employees for IT)

2 years of infrastructure experience specific to a discipline/technology or applicable IT experience such as IT Management, Software Development, Data Engineering, and Agile Product/Release Management

1 year of experience in creating, modifying, and maintaining infrastructure and individual system components

Developing level of business acumen in the areas of business operations, risk management, industry practices and emerging trends

Basic understanding of cloud technologies and tools

Must be available to work an on-call rotation (evenings and weekends)
