Responsibilities
Oversee all financial and accounting operations in accordance with facility and corporate policies
Serve as a key advisor to the CEO on financial strategy, goals, and operational performance
Prepare, analyze, and present timely financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory financial reporting requirements
Lead the annual budgeting process and perform ongoing variance analysis
Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow management
Oversee fixed asset management and depreciation reporting
Coordinate and participate in internal and external financial audits
Develop and implement cost-control measures and operational efficiencies
Lead and supervise accounting and business office staff, fostering strong employee engagement and performance
Participate in senior leadership and interdisciplinary committees as requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
A minimum of three (3) years as a Controller in a health-care setting
Thorough knowledge of computers
Experience utilizing health-care based HMS computer system
Experience with commonly accepted business software applications programs, particularly EXCEL
Preferred
Master's Degree preferred
CPA preferred
Experience in managing multiple functions in a health care business office preferred
