Business Development Representative
NuPeople is building a modern document processing cloud to transform how teams work with unstructured data. They are seeking a Business Development Representative to accelerate top-of-funnel growth by identifying the right accounts, reaching key contacts, and creating qualified opportunities that convert into revenue.
Responsibilities
Generate new pipeline through targeted research, prospecting, and outbound into high-value technical accounts
Write highly tailored outreach that resonates with engineers, AI teams, and technical buyers
Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product to refine ICPs, messaging, and outbound sequences
Take full ownership of your funnel: build systems, identify inefficiencies, and prospect at speed
Maintain strong pipeline hygiene in the CRM
Develop deep product and market knowledge, including the evolving OCR and LLM landscape
Act as a frontline signal collector, feeding insights on objections, messaging, and market trends back to the founding team
Qualification
Required
0-1+ years of sales experience in a fast-paced technical or developer-focused environment
Consistent track record of strong activity and pipeline generation
Strong time management, prioritization, and sense of urgency
Experience prospecting into technical organizations and navigating complex org charts
Comfortable using modern GTM tools (e.g., Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems)
Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft thoughtful, relevant outreach
Founder mentality: ownership-driven, resourceful, and comfortable with ambiguity
