Human Resources Coordinator – Compliance and Recruitment

Responsibilities
Enters all new hires, title changes, status changes and terminations in Relias
Monitors submission of new hire documents (Departmental Orientation Checklist, Relias Training, Probationary Evaluation, etc.)Conducts audit of personnel files to ensure compliance and escalates issues to the Assistant Director of Human Resources
Audits payroll and benefit entries, as needed
Ensures employee licensures and certifications are unexpired
Ensures that performance appraisals are completed timely in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system
Handles all administrative tasks in the termination process
Responds to inquiries, monitors invoices, and issues check requests through electronic system
Prepares and provides necessary reports from HRIS system, when needed
Verifies employees have met the eligibility requirements to work in this country and that I9 forms are current and completed timely and accurately and relevant information is entered in the HCM System
Conducts recruitment effort for positions system wide, as needed
Completes verification of employment for employees, as requested
Assists in gathering information for surveys and outside financial auditors
Orders office supplies for the Human Resources department, when needed
Serves as the first point of contact for all Human Resources inquiries and relays messages to the appropriate personnel
Assists in the coordination and implementation of special programs and projects
Supports the Front Desk Reception, as needed
Performs other related duties as required and assigned by the Assistant Director of Human Resources
Qualification
Required
Bachelor degree and/or relevant work experience equivalent
Must possess a thorough knowledge of the laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning personnel administration in a health care setting
Preferred
BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Health Services or related field preferred
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM-CP certification preferred
Two (2) years experience in Human Resources preferred
