Responsibilities

Remains at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member
Assists in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion
Removes visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and reports as appropriate
Records all observations

Qualification

Required

Minimum of 3 shifts per 6-week schedule period
Maximum of 96 hours prescheduled in a 6-week period
Shifts are 12 hours in length
Minimum of 2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (Friday 1500 – Monday 0730)
Must work at least 1 summer and 1 winter holiday
High School diploma equivalency
1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required
Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable
