Assistant Account Executive

Responsibilities

Manage PO/SAP order processes, including order entry, shipment tracking, cancellations, extensions, and delivery updates
Maintain the channel PO tracker and share open-order updates with key accounts
Support market prep through sales analysis, sample procurement, and meeting setup
Assist Senior AE and Divisional Sales Manager with order offers and business needs for major off-price accounts (Ross, TJ Maxx, Nordstrom Rack, etc.)
Share ATS opportunities and quarterly approved assortments with accounts using account-specific templates
Enter production projections into monthly production files and communicate SKU changes
Assist with Nordstrom Rack SKU setup, IIF forms, SSC forms, and PO verification
Support GCC form completion for required purchase orders
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers through consistent communication and proactive opportunities
Present new collections, brand strategies, and seasonal assortments to buyers during in-person or virtual meetings
Manage sample shipping needs to ensure timely buy completion
Partner with planning and brand teams to align on assortment needs, pricing, inventory, and lead times

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of experience in wholesale, merchandising, planning, or account support—preferably in retail or consumer goods
Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with sales data, forecasts, and inventory reporting
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external partners
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work 4 days a week in our NYC office

Preferred

Knowledge of SAP, order management systems, or EDI processes is a plus
Experience in off-price wholesale accounts (Macy's Backstage, Burlington, DSW, etc.) is preferred
