Vivvi is reinventing childcare and early learning for today’s families, and they are seeking a Head of School to manage and lead their campus operations. The role encompasses overseeing curriculum, staffing, financial health, and family engagement to create a high-quality educational environment.

Responsibilities
Be responsible for the business success of your campus
Lead school operations by developing and overseeing critical systems and processes related to staffing/scheduling, tracking enrollment, etc
Own budget and reporting, and work closely with Vivvi corporate team to monitor, report on, and support the financial health of the school
Track and submit DOE budget invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and maintaining financial integrity
Ensure excellence in program, making sure the level of care, learning, and health & safety are second-to-none
Oversee compliance systems and adhere to applicable health, safety, and licensing requirements per local regulations including DOE 3K and UPK requirements
Ensure the ongoing delivery of a developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool children
Create a positive experience for all members of the community
Support in all aspects of relationship-building and enrollment with prospective families with a commitment to promoting the highest quality experience and satisfaction
Foster and promote Vivvi’s inclusive environment throughout all aspects of the culture and practices of the campus
Hire, manage, and mentor faculty including driving accountability and adherence to all Vivvi standards and policies, regular performance evaluations, and training and professional development opportunities with an eye toward HR best practices
Qualification
Required
Enjoy working with young learners and see every child as infinitely capable
Have 5-10 years' experience in a similar role
Demonstrate knowledge of the NYC DOE 3K and 4K programs and policies
Are proficient in Teaching Strategies Gold and Creative Curriculum
Hold a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Early Childhood, Child Development, or a related field
Hold the relevant certification or credential based on licensing requirements
Have deep expertise in emergent- or inquiry-based curricula and a progressive approach to early childhood education
Are knowledgeable of all licensing requirements for early childhood programs
Value and create strong relationships with families, children, and faculty
Possess excellent leadership skills including the ability to define goals and motivate staff towards their success
Are already or are willing to be CPR and First Aid certified
To be considered, applicants must be based in or willing to relocate to NY
Candidates must also possess independent US work authorization
Physical demands of this position include but are not limited to sitting and standing for extended periods, bending at the waist, reaching overhead, and frequently moving or lifting children weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted
