Help Desk and Support Specialist (National Law Firm)

Kay Search Group is representing a nationally recognized U.S.-based law firm seeking a Help Desk and Support Specialist to provide front-line technical support. This role focuses on assisting attorneys, paralegals, and staff with daily technology needs while delivering responsive, high-quality user support.

Responsibilities

Provide Tier 1–2 help desk support to attorneys and staff via in-person, phone, and remote channels
Troubleshoot and support cloud-based systems, including Microsoft 365, email, document management, and collaboration tools
Assist users with legal-specific applications, including document management and time and billing systems
Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access within Active Directory and cloud-based services
Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware setup, account provisioning, and user training
Document issues, resolutions, and IT assets in ticketing and inventory systems

Required

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent hands-on experience
2–4 years of experience in IT help desk or technical support, preferably in professional services
Experience supporting cloud-based platforms, particularly Microsoft 365 and related services
Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Active Directory
Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
Strong customer service, troubleshooting, and communication skills
