LHH is working with a well-established civil litigation defense firm located in Downtown Los Angeles seeking a seasoned Litigation Attorney to join their team. The role involves independently managing civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, drafting legal documents, and attending hearings and mediations as needed.

Responsibilities

Independently manage civil litigation cases from inception through resolution

Draft high-quality legal briefs, motions, and discovery (strong writing skills required; law review experience highly preferred)

Take and defend depositions

Handle discovery disputes, including drafting motions to compel and protective orders

Conduct meet and confer communications and manage discovery compliance

Step into ongoing cases while lead attorneys are in trial

Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances as needed
