Smart Manufacturing and Automation Intern
Texas Instruments is seeking a Summer Intern for an exciting opportunity within their Smart Manufacturing and Automation Quality & Test organization. The intern will work on meaningful projects involving AI, machine learning, and workflow automation to optimize manufacturing workflows and enhance test coverage.

Responsibilities
Design and develop AI-powered automation workflows using LLM platforms and agentic frameworks
Build data analytics dashboards and APIs that support manufacturing quality decisions
Create and refine prompt engineering solutions for manufacturing use cases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement ML-driven solutions
Contribute to test automation frameworks that improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
Programming experience in Python or a similar language
Preferred
Experience with AI code generation platforms (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) or LLM APIs
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn)
Exposure to agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI) or Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Proficiency in Python, SQL, or scripting languages for automation
Experience with data visualization tools or dashboard development
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with people across different functions
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Self-motivated with a drive to deliver results
