Financial Center Operations Leader

Responsibilities
Management duties may include: timecard reviews/approvals, setting work schedules/managing overtime, participating in the hiring process for direct report openings, fostering professional development of direct reports, conducting mid-year and annual performance evaluations, coaching associates through the disciplinary process and ensuring team adherence to company policies and procedures
Prepare branches for achieving satisfactory mock audits & internal Bank audits to include: preparing for mock audits with staff, reviewing and updating branch logs such as vault logs/night drop/ATM/key/combo logs/retention logs, security, phone authentication, alarms, morning alert signals, SCRA, etc
Ensure calling efforts are made on overdraft accounts
Responsible for deposit exception management and resolution by identifying the root cause and resolving exceptions/errors before 45 days
Analyze charge offs for possible policy and procedure violations and report violations to management
Review overdrafts and determine if losses involved policy and procedure violations; consult with management on appropriate course of action
Monitor overdraft accounts approaching 60 days to ensure proper close out
Coach and mentor financial center staff when errors or issues occur; identify if additional training is needed
Manage direct operational issues and problems that arise with ATM’s, shipment issues, etc
Assist management with finding teller outages by attempting to locate large outages by reviewing associate work/journals and notifying the Regional Operations Specialist and HR of the outage and request assistance
Mentor branch new hires in operational soundness to include: setting up cash drawer/buying and selling cash, overseeing client transactions, assigning key/combos/sign on to systems/alarms, conducting night drop opening & processing/signing logs, conducting ATM opening/balancing/deposits/signing logs, observing locking workstations/keys on counter/morning signals, reviewing teller override limits and reviewing mock audits
Conduct all Teller vacation audits
Contribute to the financial center’s success by achieving assigned goals
Engage in consultative conversations with clients to build relationships, cross-sell, and promote Fidelity’s products and services
Open new deposit accounts and process consumer loan applications
Perform teller duties as necessary to maintain efficient customer service standards
Maintain knowledge of all Fidelity’s products and services
Assist in vault responsibilities as needed
Make calls to current clients and prospects to enhance current relationships and build new business
Provide customer assistance related to banking needs both in-person and over the phone
Assist supervisor with maintaining accurate reports
Assist in maintaining branch appearance standards
Adhere to all bank policies and procedures

Comply with regulatory rules and regulations evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability
Perform other duties and/or special projects as appointed by management
Physical Requirements: primarily sitting with some standing, walking, lifting and bending
Qualification
Required
GED or High school diploma
6+ years of retail banking experience
Strong retail banking operations experience with a proven track record of satisfactory audit results
Previous cross-selling and sales experience
Excellent knowledge of all retail financial institution products and services
Experience in other banking functions, such as bank sales, operations, and customer service
Ability to travel across company footprint
Ability to obtain registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS)
Ability to achieve sales goals as set forth by management
Ensure branch operational soundness and achieve satisfactory audit results
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related business field or 4 years of related experience
Previous supervisory experience
