Resident Engineer - Wastewater/Water
Fehr Graham Engineering & Environmental is a fast-growing Midwest engineering environmental firm looking for a motivated Resident Engineer. In this role, you will provide construction oversight for municipal wastewater infrastructure projects, ensuring that construction activities are completed safely and in accordance with project specifications.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary on-site representative for Fehr Graham during construction of water and wastewater treatment facilities
Oversee daily construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, permits, and contract documents
Coordinate with contractors, inspectors, project managers, and municipal stakeholders
Review contractor submittals, RFIs, pay applications, change orders, and field documentation
Monitor construction schedules, quantities, and quality control procedures
Identify and resolve field issues in collaboration with the project team
Conduct and document progress meetings and site observations
Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate project records, reports, and correspondence
Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and final documentation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction engineering, or construction oversight
Direct experience with wastewater treatment plant design or construction strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, contract administration, and municipal infrastructure standards
Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work full-time on-site
