Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

Assist customers with preparing and consolidating orders
Obtain shipping quotations and respond to related queries
Prepare export documentation and support export administration
Liaise with relevant authorities as required
Coordinate export compliance in collaboration with the production team
Manage import documentation and ensure compliance with customs regulations
Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any delays
Communicate with freight forwarders, carriers, and customs brokers for both import and export processes
Maintain accurate records of all import/export transactions for audit and reporting purposes
Ensure adherence to international trade laws, tariffs, and duty requirements
Perform other duties appropriate to the position and occasionally support team members

Required

Ideally have an International Business, or export administration background
Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate communication between teams and with customers and colleagues of diverse origins

Ability to continually improve quality and effectiveness in all activities
Organized and efficient to meet deadlines and deliver objectives
Flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team but also on own initiative
IT literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
