Payroll Benefits Manager
The Keller Group is seeking a detail-oriented payroll and benefits professional to oversee payroll and benefits administration for a multi-state employee population. This role is responsible for managing payroll processing and administering employee benefits programs while ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Administer regular payroll processing in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner in accordance with applicable laws and internal policies
Manage off-cycle payroll activities, including equity-related events, bonuses, adjustments, and employee separations
Maintain and enhance payroll-related internal controls, including reconciliations, system access reviews, documentation standards, and audit readiness for internal and external reviews
Partner with Finance to support payroll account reconciliations, month-end and quarter-end close activities, and payroll-related reporting and analysis
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of payroll inputs, including new hires, compensation changes, benefits elections, and other employee data within the HRIS and payroll systems
Maintain accurate payroll and employee records while safeguarding confidential and sensitive information and ensuring ongoing compliance with applicable regulations
Oversee leave administration programs, including statutory and company-sponsored leave and time-off plans, ensuring consistent application, accurate processing, and employee support
Regularly evaluate and improve payroll and benefits processes, systems, and integrations to enhance efficiency, data integrity, internal controls, and automation
Prepare and deliver recurring and ad hoc payroll and benefits reports, metrics, and analyses to support business needs
Administer employee benefits programs, including annual enrollment activities, retirement plans, compliance testing, and equity compensation administration
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee payroll and benefits inquiries, while providing cross-functional support to Finance and Human Resources as needed
Qualification
Required
Detail-oriented payroll and benefits professional
Experience overseeing payroll and benefits administration for a multi-state employee population
Ability to manage regular and off-cycle payroll processing, including equity-related events
Experience administering employee benefits programs such as health plans, retirement plans, and annual enrollment activities
Ability to partner closely with Finance and Human Resources
Experience supporting reconciliations, reporting, audits, and cross-functional initiatives
Knowledge of compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
Ability to protect confidential employee information
Experience providing responsive, high-quality support to employees
Ability to administer regular payroll processing in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner

Ability to maintain and enhance payroll-related internal controls
