Responsibilities

Working knowledge of WAN technology and deployment and troubleshooting different communication circuit types
Understanding of layer 1 technologies and their capabilities and limitations, including cable management, cable types, media converters, circuits to include CPE, Telco & Demark, etc
Installation experience with routers, switches, firewalls and Security and Encryption appliances

Required

7+ years demonstrated performance in network engineering technology, with a bachelor's degree or industry equivalent experience
DoD Manual 8140 Cyberspace Workforce Qualification Certification for Intermediate level
Strong communication skills and experience using ticketing
Strong understanding in troubleshooting in cloud network technologies (Expressroute, and Azure virtual networks)
Experience with level 1 technologies such as cable management, cable types, CPE
Must be willing to travel CONUS and OCONUS
Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility

Preferred

Layer 3 experience highly preferred (BGP, MPLS, SD WAN)
