Responsibilities
Perform loan-level quality control and compliance audits
Perform research and investigate loan level findings and resolve findings quickly
Research and address agency, GSE, and investor loan-level findings
Prepare monthly QC trend and data reports for management review
Assist with legal and compliance-related tasks and projects, including but not limited to, HMDA review and adverse action notifications
Perform closing agent and vendor due diligence
Perform appraisal coordination from ordering to delivery, and QC review of appraisal
Assist with consumer complaint resolution as needed
Collaborate across departments and assist with special projects
Qualification
Required
Mortgage industry experience required with a focus in Quality Control/Compliance
Detail-oriented and can complete tasks in an efficient and timely manner
Must be able to work independently and manage time sensitive tasks and project to completion
Knowledge of loan guidelines, QC standards, and general compliance requirements
Strong Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Processing or Underwriting background is a plus
