Assistant Broker
Hull & Company is a leading wholesale insurance broker specializing in Property and Casualty insurance. The Assistant Broker will support senior brokers in processing submissions, obtaining quotes, and managing client relations while ensuring excellent service to clients and carrier partners.
Responsibilities
Support senior brokers in processing submissions
Obtain quotes
Bind policies
Manage client relations
Data entry
Maintain account documentation
Coordinate with underwriters to ensure seamless client services
Qualification
Required
Strong administrative and organizational skills, including data entry, documentation management, and adherence to deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with clients, underwriters, and team members
Understanding of insurance concepts and property and casualty insurance practices
Proficiency with office software solutions such as Microsoft Office and other digital tools used for managing accounts and documents
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to collaborate both in-office and remotely as needed
Exceptional multitasking and analytical skills to handle multiple priorities efficiently
Preferred
Relevant experience in the insurance sector is preferred
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field is preferred
