Software Account Executive
Thryv is an international leading SaaS and platforms business provider for small to medium-sized businesses, committed to helping them compete and succeed. The Software Account Executive will be responsible for increasing client engagement and acquiring new SaaS clients while nurturing existing relationships to meet sales quotas.
Responsibilities
Contacts assigned clients and presents opportunities for additional sales and/or extended usage based on client needs
Identifies and secures new SaaS clients by leveraging self-generated prospecting (i.e. networks, referrals, etc.) and company-initiated prospecting programs
Executes all defined operational processes and requirements with excellence (i.e., designed cadences for client and prospect engagement, ongoing product and demo certifications, order entry requirements, centralized intake forms, etc.)
Participates in sales meetings, call calibrations, and training as needed
Help grow local business market share
Defend small business America and the American Dream
Work with existing clients and hunt for new business
Become SaaS (software as a service) experts
Receive world-class training

Educate and guide prospects through the buyer’s journey to help them learn how Thryv can grow their business
Partner with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategy as the company introduces enhancements to existing solutions and/or releases new products

Qualification
Required
4+ years of related sales experience
3+ years of experience in an (outbound) full sales cycle role
Strong industry knowledge with the ability to gain a thorough understanding of the Thryv product suite
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong emotional intelligence, adaptability, and the ability to build relationships
Time and organization skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing schedules or conflicting demands
Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, effectively conducting sales presentations while following company established processes and procedures
Strong technical skills with proficiency in MS office and the ability to learn new programs and systems
Associate degree (or international equivalent) or equivalent experience
Preferred
7+ years of related sales experience
Experience in a SaaS role or company
Experience in Enterprise-level sales
