Drive and lead projects and initiatives that contribute to broad business impact
Help define the future of services used daily by both customers and internal teams
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in the software industry working on architecture, system and software design, development and delivery of highly scalable products and services
Strong back-end development experience in Java or other similar modern OO programming language (not Python)
In-depth understanding of the entire product development lifecycle including writing technical specification, assisting to make product impacting decisions, designing world-class services, developing and reviewing code, driving DevOps, managing releases and operations
Ability to identify opportunities for innovation, drive to be on top of tech-debt, plan for continuous improvements in technology and operations and maintain a solid security posture
Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Comfort with complex, rapidly evolving software development environments. Ability to learn new technologies quickly
Strong experience in microservice-based architectures, distributed systems, SQL and NoSQL databases, REST APIs and Cloud technologies
Strong experience with CI/CD process and tools such as GitLab, JIRA, TeamCity/Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc
Previous experience of using Cloud services (IaaS, PaaS) is required
Comfortable being a technical leader for team efforts and technical projects as needed
Confident representing and presenting technical ideas and processes to large audiences
Bachelor's Degree or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent education
Preferred
Experience with Javascript/React front-end / full-stack development is desired but not required
Previous experience with system monitoring, automation and incident management tools is desired
